These records are generated from the trip record submissions made by yellow taxi Technology Service Providers (TSPs). Each row represents a single trip in a yellow taxi. The trip records include fields capturing pick-up and drop-off dates/times, pick-up and drop-off taxi zone locations, trip distances, itemized fares, rate types, payment types, and driver-reported passenger counts.

| extra | number | Miscellaneous extras and surcharges. Currently, this only includes the $0.50 and $1 rush hour and overnight charges. |

| payment_type | text | A numeric code signifying how the passenger paid for the trip. 1= Credit card 2= Cash 3= No charge 4= Dispute 5= Unknown 6= Voided trip |
| dropoff_latitude | number | Latitude where the meter was disengaged. |
| total_amount | number | The total amount charged to passengers. Does not include cash tips. |
