About
The Census Bureau's Vintage 2020 annual population estimates for the nation, its four regions, nine divisions and each state, DC and Puerto Rico: a row per area, measure and year. POPESTIMATE is the resident population on July 1. The components are BIRTHS, DEATHS, NATURALCHG (or NATURALINC in the 2010s), INTERNATIONALMIG, DOMESTICMIG, NETMIG and RESIDUAL, each for the year to July 1, with the R measures as rates per 1,000 people. ESTIMATESBASE is the April 1 base after the census. Each vintage revises every earlier year, so compare years within one vintage.
